The European Settler Arrives
When European leaders dispatched the first ships in this direction, the goal was to explore new resources – however the quality of weather and the bounty of everything from wood to wildlife subsequently changed their tune. This peaceful agreement between the U.S. government and the Native American tribes did not stand very long.
